The Crayon Campaign

We here at TIFTY have begun to undertake an exciting project!  Over the next year we will be collecting 1.5 million unused crayons – one for each child who perished in the Holocaust.  We plan to use a portion of these crayons to create a permanent memorial that will be housed here at Temple Israel.  We will also be developing an activity book promoting diversity and tolerance which we will donate to area Elementary Schools with the remaining crayons. 

 Molly Finn will be serving as the Crayon Campaign Chair and 07-08 Member at Large.  Molly is primarily responsible for the Crayon Campaign and is already hard at work planning programs and fundraisers for this amazing project.
